Constitution
Article I- Name
The Graduate Student Association (hereafter referred to as GSA) of Kennesaw State University.
Article II- Purpose
The Graduate Student Association provides an organizational vehicle for the purpose of:
- Disseminating information involving both the skills and the resources necessary to effectively compete in the market place.
- Provide social and networking opportunities for the students and faculty in order to promote Kennesaw State University’s graduate programs and enhance the relationship between students, faculty, prospective employers and other interested parties.
- Building an integrated support system for students to aid them in their academic pursuits as they balance the requirements of work, school, life and family.
Article III- Major Services and Activities
The Graduate Student Association offers a variety of campus-wide activities designed to support the needs and interests of graduate students. These activities include, but are not limited to:
- Support for scholarship and professional activities.
- Guest lectures devoted to topics of interest to graduate students.
- Support of student organizations devoted to the needs and interests of graduate students.
- Student conferences, meetings, and networking events.
- Serve as a network of information between graduate students and career services.
